JB Hi-Fi Forrest Chase

Great experience all the way from the good guidance and advice during the sale process all the way to assisting me with a warranty claim with an unfortunately malfunctioning device. Very helpful and understanding team, they went beyond all expectations after some long and confronting back and forth with the actual supplier and. solved any issues I had in less than 24h.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff,willing to get the best for the customer....well done James/Jimmy

I'm normally used to being impressed by the level of assistance in a JB outlet. This was underwhelming.We walked in and just drifted until we found what we were looking for more by accident than design.Two women staff members were just talking to one another and we know they saw us just wandering about until we chanced on what we wanted to buy.Not once did any staff member offer assistance - very unlike a JB outlet.

I love these stores, and some of them are changing into more home and electronics rather than DVD and music.This one still has their DVDs! And it made me happy.Took me a while to find the anime section, but I was also happy to see that they have merchandise and DVDs still!I still get lost in these stores, but I've always loved the vibe these stores have.I hope they never change that!

As soon walked in store, someone was there to help. Got a drone, memory card and accessories and out the door. One of the best JB’s I’ve been in. Will definitely go back.

The lady who served me had really pretty star nails - she was super helpful and friendly and sorted my exchange out quickly. Would definitely recommend this location as all the staff have had great customer service every time I've been in :)

A very average customer experience today while procuring an Apple Watch during their EOFY Sale as a result of one single male salesman but thankfully the lovely female cashier Chan saved the day with her fantastic attitude.I usually had quite good experience at this JB Hifi in Forrest Chase right above Woolsworth on Murray St Mall, with James being one of the friendliest salesman.However, I was served by a tall male staff in black today (Lewis?) who was indifferent to my query on the Apple Watch Series 8.As I already decided what I want, i had to convince him to price match Officeworks by $2 (yes AUD2) per JB’s policy. He reluctantly agreed but I found out later he didn’t put it through his system, much to the cashier’s dismay.When his attempt to upsell me the extended warranty and Apple Watch protective cover failed, his demeanour continued to be indifferent, and I was actually surprised to hear one of his colleagues reminding him “Remember: Please, Thank YOU!” as he walked past him to get the Apple Watch. This staff then politely greeted me with a friendly “How R U?”, which Lewis didn’t even do initially.It was only when cashier Chan put through the sale via my JB vouchers & said I still owe $2 that we realised Lewis either didn’t honor his price match promise, or failed to put it through properly.Unfortunately for chan, but fortunately for me, she decided to pay the difference herself to complete the sale, much to my surprise.It was because of her and the other general staff that saved this experience for me, and I will continue to support this store but avoid Lewis in future.

I’m only giving a 3 star review because during my visit to the JB HI FI at Forrest Chase, I was very rudely spoken to by the man at the counter called Vernon. I was buying a gaming monitor and asked a simple question of whether there was a DP cord included in the box, Vernon responded with “For future reference, that is not a question you should be asking me, you should be asking that to the sales person, I don’t have time to be answering questions like that because I have to serve people.” This made me feel incredibly awkward and belittled. He said he would check but I just told him not to worry about it because all I wanted was to leave the store.

Helpful, friendly customer service, and relaxed vibe.There are some narrow parts of the shop, so it can be a bit annoying for a wheelchair user, but hey most places are really frustrating and inaccessible so this really wasn't that bad to me
